Teamfight Tactics Set 9 Patch 13.14: All Augment Changes Explained

Riot Games is officially back from its summer break and this means that we will have a new patch in both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics (TFT) very soon. After three weeks, players will be getting updates to their favorite games via Patch 13.14 which is officially scheduled to release on 19th July. In Teamfight Tactics, after pushing through multiple mid-patch changes, it looks like Riot Games is focusing on Augment and item balance changes to Set 9, Runeterra Reforged.

According to the Public Beta Environment (PBE), the TFT changes are expansive and a ton of Augments are getting tweaks.

Augments Updates in TFT Set 9 Patch 13.14

If this is your first Set in TFT where you are playing with Augments, here’s a refresher on how Augments work and what they are. Augments were first introduced to TFT through Set 6 Gizmos and Gadgets as the main mechanic. They became permanent in the game starting with TFT Set 8: Monsters Attack. Augments are basically permanent bonuses that are added to the player's hexcore.

At stages 1-4, 3-3, and 4-6, players are offered three choices of Augments and rerolls. Additionally, Augments are classified based on their rarity: Silver, Gold, and Prismatic.

Some of the biggest changes in Patch 13.14 for Augments are around gold and XP gained through economy Augments. There are also reworks of the Augments’ abilities. Here are the changes that were spotted on the TFT PBE for Patch 13.14, according to DotEsports and Esports Illustrated:
